For several years the Foundation for Fraternal Excellence has successfully hosted Seminar in conjunction with the North American Interfraternity Conference’s Annual Meeting of Members for a dual experience in Indianapolis. But as the COVID-19 pandemic and the year have progressed, we have listened to our members' growing concerns regarding safety, travel, budget and more, talked to our Alliance Partners and reviewed new hotel guidelines for social distancing. Based on these conversations, the FFE Board of Directors has determined that the best path forward for 2020 is to host the same robust Seminar experience but in a virtual format.
We look at the online Seminar as an opportunity for growth. We hope this format means more fraternal foundation industry team members, board members and volunteers and fraternity-side peers can experience the must-see content you have come to expect at FFE’s Seminar. While the format may change, the 2020 Seminar will still give attendees a forum to collaborate on advancing our organizations’ missions while outlining new strategies and tools for our work, discussing shared business problems and providing the latest data and research that supports our progress. We will also proudly celebrate the outstanding achievements of FFE member organizations and individuals through FFE’s Awards of Distinction in an online format.
While it is disheartening that we cannot gather in person for Seminar, we remain committed to FFE’s Culture of Care and the advancement of our industry, our organizations and our people. In times such as these, we must advocate for the necessary relationships formed and strengths developed through the fraternal experience by honing our skills and becoming better collaborators, communicators, fundraisers, leaders and stewards. Seminar 2020 is a compelling opportunity for us all to grow together and we are excited to bring this virtual experience to all of you.
Seminar will take place over three partial days, from August 24-26, 2020, as originally scheduled but with a condensed agenda. This event will be hosted entirely virtually. We will be utilizing event management technology to live stream sessions, host robust discussion and provide valuable connections to peers and partners.
Payment: After submitting this form, you will be redirected to a payment page where you can pay by credit card. If you prefer to be emailed an invoice, please select "Pay by Check" to receive an electronic invoice that you can pay via check prior to the program - this will also help FFE avoid credit card processing fees. If your organization is not an active FFE Member, you will be charged a $200 non-member fee per registrant.
